This course by the American Heart Association is a CPR certification course designed for those with a “duty to act,” including doctors, nurses, Paramedics, EMT’s Police, Fire and Lifeguards. This course includes a textbook and 2-year AHA BLS Provider certification.
Basic Life Support training reinforces healthcare professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPRand defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
